Also known as the Song of India, this plant is native to Madagascar and other islands of the Indian Ocean, and is part of the large dracaena houseplant family.  It is a slow growing but easy to care for plant, and makes a great addition to a home.  You’ll want to keep it away from dogs and cats though, as it is slightly toxic to them.
